A few of my favorite things

1. That euphoric, surreal moment when each of my babies were born. I had hoped, prayed and wished for that moment… not quite believing it would be possible each time. Truly, there is nothing like it. What a miracle. God does amazing work.

2. Working on something with your child for a looooonnnnggg time, and finally seeing the pay off.

3. Watching my children sleep.

4. I love you and I miss you’s….

5. Watching my children love their Daddy.

6. Hearing my child pray to God like she knows him.

7. Smelling & kissing on my children.

8. Nap time. Enough said.

9. Nursing a baby, and knowing that is exactly how God meant for it to be.

10. The realization that God loves us the way we love our children. He wants the best for us, and we continue to want to do things our own way. So similar to the way our children are with us, but we continue to love them. Finally grasping the unconditional love of God a tiny bit.
