She lost it...

Well, after a few months of waiting Taylor has finally lost her first tooth. Unfortunately, we don't know when she lost it, and the tooth is now "missing".... Taylor is pretty devastated, and right now she is out back with Zach & Daddy on a hunt for the tooth in our backyard. 45 minutes ago while we were eating dinner she had the tooth in her mouth, and somehow between then and now it is gone. She was playing the back yard, and Ben noticed it was gone. I have been trying to assure her that we can just leave a note for the tooth fairy, but she said she just wanted her tooth and wanted to look at it! Has anyone else had this experience? Of course, it had to happen with her first tooth!! :) Oh well, I'm sure the tooth fairy will reward her well- given the circumstances... :)The tooth fairy pillow. She came, and and she left a special note with money! My favorite part of the whole morning was Taylor over-analyzing the tooth fairy. How big is the tooth fairy, Mom? I'll bet she's the size of a bug, do you think Mom? Wait, she can't be the size of a bug, because how would she lift up the coins? What 5 year old thinks about things this much? She cracks me up.
