Visiting Santa

We headed to downtown Kalamazoo again this year to visit Santa in Santa's Village. It's such a great low-key atmosphere, and my favorite part is that there is no line, and you get to take your own pictures! The kids made cookies, decorated bags, wrote Christmas lists and mailed them, sat with Santa & went on a Scavenger hunt to find frosty the snowman. We had a great family day, and finished it off with lunch at Burdicks.

I'm not sure if there ever was a child so happy to be sitting on Santa's lap! She sat up there for 5 minutes... I think he had to tell her to get off...

All set and ready to go play "Find Frosty"! Basically a scavanger hunt for Frosty on various stores throughout downtown, once you find him you go in the store and pick from a basket of toys.. the kids loved it!
